I initially set out to write once a week, but I think writing weekly is overrated. Writing weekly is for people who have commitment, drive, and well, ideas. My new plan is to post at least three times a year, as that would be a significant improvement (+50%) upon my current schedule. At this point I’m posting for the same reason people sit through bad movies. I bought the domain and I’m going to get my money’s worth, dammit!

I’ve also shifted the focus of my blog. Most blogs serve a niche group and are updated regularly. Not mine. I decided to turn the classic formula on its head.  My new goal is to have the #1 non-specific, bi-annual blog on the web. Is this a comedy blog? Or is this a website they made for a Make-A-Wish kid? These are the questions I want you to consider.

Anyway, hopefully the new year will bring plenty of creative ideas and new blog posts. Slow and steady wins the race, it’s a marathon not a sprint, etc. Here’s to another empty promise and 6 months of inactivity.
